Well over a hundred entries were received from all over the world, and the quality of the submissions was, almost without exception, exceedingly high. Prizes of €1,500 were awarded for the best doctoral papers in 12 subject areas covering most areas of management. Winners were also published on the EFMD website as well as in one of Emerald's leading journals as a full paper, executive summary or research note.
The 12 awards were open to those who completed and satisfied examination requirements for a doctoral award between 1 June 2004 and 1 June 2006.
Both Emerald and the EFMD are proud to help promote and reward such high-quality research and would like to congratulate all the Award winners and Highly Commended Award winners and wish them every success in the future.
