The final deadline for submissions has now passed. All submissions have been forwarded to the judging panel. The Winner and any Highly Commended Award winners will be announced in March 2010. Please rest assured all applicants will be notified personally of the outcome of their submission prior to any public announcement being made.
Supporting the dissemination of knowledge for the social good in India - about the Award
This year, Emerald and the AIMA – All India Management Association – are delighted to offer a research grant for an Indian project in the field of management research. The award will offer £3,000 (approximately US$5,000 equivalent) to fund the winning research project.
Applications were to address the dissemination of knowledge for the social good with a specific orientation toward benefit for mainland India.
Eligibility
The main member of the research team was to be based in India.
Judging criteria
Each application will be judged, by a panel of experts, on the criteria below. The research must:
- Be of significance, and in particular, illustrate how it will benefit the social good.
- Demonstrate originality and innovation.
- Make an outstanding contribution to theory and its application.
- Illustrate the appropriateness and application of the methodology.
- Demonstrate sound implications for theory and practice.
