When placing an order with Emerald, we would greatly appreciate it if you could provide the following information:
- Invoice/agent address
- Subscriber and delivery address
- Journal name
- Volume number and year of publication
- Emerald reference number (if a renewal)
- Total value (if unsure, please confirm the price with Emerald first)
All subscription agents please note that before we can process any orders, we require your customer’s full organisation name and address.
Payment terms
All invoices must be paid within 28 days. Subscriptions are payable annually in advance. No online access will be available, nor will print issues be dispatched until payment is received.
If you subscribe direct through Emerald, your payment should be sent to our UK office at the address below. If your subscription is held via a subscription agent, please contact them with regards to your order.
Subscriptions are payable annually in advance, and can be made via the following methods:-
Cheques
Payment can be made by cheque or drafts made payable to Emerald Group Publishing Limited, and marked for the attention of the Subscriptions Department.
Credit Card
Emerald can accept payments via Visa, MasterCard, Diners’ Club or American Express.
If you would like to pay via credit card, please quote your card number, expiry date, 3 digit security code(located on the back of you card) and card holder’s name.
However, in case there are any problems with your order, please also include a contact email address or telephone number.
Kindly note: all payments made by credit card, will be converted to Sterling using the exchange rate prevailing at the time of transaction.
Bank Transfer
Payment may also be made via Bankers Automated Clearing Services (BACS). Our bank details are:

To avoid confusion when paying via BACS, please send your remittance advice quoting our account reference or invoice number direct to Lesley Dobson at the UK address below.
VAT
Value Added Tax (VAT) at the applicable rate is due on print issues delivered within the EU and electronic services provided to customers located within the EU. For non-UK customers providing a valid EC VAT number or exemption certificate, VAT may be zero rated provided delivery is to a non-UK address or services provided to a non-UK customer.

Single issues and back volumes
Single issues and back volumes published within the last year are available for purchase while stocks last and are charged at the year of publication’s rate. Please note that we would require pre-payment for any single or back issue orders.
