Special Issue: “Chinese Entrepreneurship: Innovation and Growth”

Guest Editor: Jun Li

Published: November, 2008

This special issue of the journal is dedicated to the topic of Chinese entrepreneurship and has a specific focus on innovation and growth. It is a follow-up of the first special issue on entrepreneurship and small business development in China, which was published in JSBED volume 13, issue 2.

The main aim of this special issue is to present, explore and reflect on the Chinese experience of entrepreneurship and to critically evaluate the application and implications of the Chinese entrepreneurial model. More specifically, we aim to:
• examine enterprise growth factors in the Chinese context;
• highlight the diverse range of topical issues to which the Chinese experience of small business growth and enterprise development can contribute;
• explore various aspects of entrepreneurship development policies and support mechanisms in contemporary China.
