**Emerald Awards for Excellence**
Emerald's publishing philosophy highlights six areas that inform the development of our journals: internationality; diversity; support for scholarly research; encouragement of applied research; commitment to high quality scholarship; and a desire to ensure reader, author and customer experience is the best it can be. These are also the areas we look to when we recognize and reward the efforts of authors and editors and celebrate the outstanding contributions many have made, not only to our journals, but to the body of knowledge itself.
