About the Editor-in-Chief
Guijun Lin is Professor of Economics at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), China. He holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from UIBE (1983), MA degree in Economics from Carleton University, Canada (1987) and a PhD degree from UIBE (1995). His research interests are in International Trade Policies and International Monetary Economics. He has published in China Economic Review, The Chinese Economy, the Asian Pacific Journal of Economics and Business and in a number of leading Chinese journals. He has also edited a book entitled The Managerial Process and Impact of Foreign Direct Investment in Greater China (with C. Jayachandran, JAI Press). His recent work includes sectoral analysis of saving/investment balance in China, the ownership-based approach to accounting for international trade balance, empirical examination of important exports skills for the Chinese firms and measuring the welfare effect of terms of trade change. Professor Lin is the Chief Editor of International Trade Journal (guojimaoyiwenti), and serves on the editorial board of several international journals including International Business Review, Journal of Technology Management in China and The Asian Pacific Journal of Economics & Business, Public Finance and Management (PFM). Professor Lin is also the Vice President of UIBE, a member of Degree-Conferring Committee in applied economics under the State Council of the People’s Republic of China and Deputy Director of All China International Trade Association.
  
About the Editor

Zhongxiu Zhao is Professor of Economics at the University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), China. He obtained PhD in Economics from UIBE (2000). His research interests include International Economics and Chinese economy. Professor Zhao has published in international journals such as International Economics, The Chinese Economy, and China & World Economy. He has also published various books, including Endogenous Growth: Implications for China's Economic Growth. Professor Zhao has received several prestigious accolades such as Best Teacher Award for Higher Education of Beijing and An Zijie Award for Excellent Research in International Business. Professor Zhao currently serves as the Dean of the School of International Trade and Economics at UIBE, and the Deputy Secretary General for the International Trade Association of China.

 

About the Consulting Editor

Richard Li-Hua has recently joined Salford Business School, Salford University from Newcastle Business School, Northumbria University. His career in both private commercial companies and the public sector has been marked by its strongly international focus. After a highly successful career as a senior manager in the construction sector in China, with spells in a number of Middle East, Southeast Asia and North African countries, Richard moved to the UK to begin a new career as a university academic in 1997. He worked for 11 years at Northumbria University, where he taught and researched in leadership, strategic challenge and management, technology management, knowledge management and international technology transfer in PhD, DBA and MBA/Master programmes.
Dr Li-Hua is an invited speaker to many international conferences and a widely recognized authority on the strategies for international technology transfer. His research interests currently lie in leadership and strategic management, knowledge management, technology management and, in particular, the effectiveness and appropriateness of technology transfer in China. Dr Li-Hua is also the Founder and current President of China Association for Management of Technology (www.camot.org). Dr Li-Hua advises not only international business, but also the higher education sector and government agencies. He has been Senior Economic Advisor to the Henan Provincial Government, China and International Advisor to ARMCO, Saudi Arabia since 2003.

About the Executive Editors

Dr. Junjie Hong is Associate Professor in Economics at the School of International Trade and Economics, University of International Business and Economics (UIBE), China. Dr. Hong obtained his PhD degree in Economics at the National University of Singapore (2005). His research interests include urban and regional economics, international economics, and transport and logistics. Dr. Hong’s publications have appeared in international journals, including Transportation Research Part A, Regional Studies, Service Industries Journal, China Economic Review, and Transportation Journal.

 

Dr Chengqi Wang is Associate Professor and Reader of International Business, Nottingham University Business School, University of Nottingham, UK. His research passion centres on the role of multinational enterprises in the development process of emerging economies, with a particular focus on China. He has published widely in journals such as Journal of International Business Studies (three articles), Regional Studies, Management International Review, Applied Economics and International Business Review. He has also published numerous articles in leading Chinese journals including World Economy, China Industrial Economy and Statistical Research. Dr. Wang holds a number of prestigious positions in Chinese Universities including Special Chair Professor at Dongbei University of Finance & Economics and Ningbo University, Special Adjunct Professor at Huazhong University of Science & Technology and University of International Business and Economics (UIBE).
