Partnership between CIB World Congress and Emerald Group Publishing

 
CIB World Congress and Emerald Group Publishing are partnering to promote and celebrate research excellence and innovativeness in the built environment by sponsoring best paper awards and initiating special issues from the papers presented at the CIB World Congress.
 
We are pleased to announce the following awards and special issues:
 
W070: Facilities Management and Maintenance
Facilities and W070 are pleased to sponsor a best paper award and will publish selected papers in a special issue.
 
W086: Building Pathology
Structural Survey and W086 are pleased to sponsor a best paper award and will publish selected papers in a special issue.
 
W113: Law and Dispute Resolutions
The International Journal of Law in the Built Environment and W113 are pleased to announce a special issue collating selected papers. Please contact Brodie McAdam, the guest editor, with any enquiries at w.b.mcadam@salford.ac.uk.
 
TG59: People in Construction
The Journal of Engineering, Design and Technology and TG 59 are pleased to sponsor a best paper award and will publish selected papers in a special issue
 
TG63: Disasters and Built Environment
The International Journal of Disaster Resilience in the Built Environment and TG 63 are pleased to sponsor two best paper awards, including a best paper award by a postgraduate researcher, and will publish selected papers in a special issue.
 
TG72: Public Private Partnership
The Journal of Financial Management in Property and Construction and TG72 are pleased to sponsor a best paper award and will publish selected papers in a special issue.

The CIB World Congress is THE place to be to learn about the state of the art in markets, research and innovation linked to construction and the built environment. The Congress will include high profile presentations by leading authorities and thought leaders; trend reports covering a wide range of disciplines; perspectives on national and regional markets around the world; and the latest academic papers from every corner of the global built environment research community. 
 
Hundreds of researchers from around the world will be meeting at the Congress, representing a strong multi-disciplinary mix of over forty CIB Working Commissions and Task Groups and, as well as running their own academic streams, they will be supporting a range of other activities and engaging in a busy social programme.
