Editorial objectives

European Business Review aims to publish innovative, straightforward, challenging, thought-provoking articles - as well as insights and foresights - in the field of general management. The journal's content aspires to be relevant and interesting to a wide readership, which adds to the understanding and discussion of business and academia worldwide. This includes the analysis of practitioner- and scholarly-oriented topics, as well as the uni- and bi-directional influences within and across the boundaries of business and academia.

Editorial scope

Articles should cover the key business disciplines - management, leadership, marketing, logistics, strategy, quality management, entrepreneurship, business ethics, international business, operations management, manufacturing, accounting and finance - specifically relating to experiences and reflections of interest to business and academia worldwide.

Topicality

With the globalization and localization (i.e. glocalization) of the worldwide marketplace the importance of business innovativeness and intellectual openness are increasing. It is more important than ever for corporations to keep pace with new ideas and practices if they are to compete successfully and survive in the challenging and worldwide business environment. European Business Review's broad coverage makes it easy for you to learn about the latest managerial and scholarly thinking - and apply that knowledge of insight and foresight to your own situation. Past wisdom and previous experiences also provide useful sources of knowledge. The present and future solutions of business may be found in the past. Proactive - rather than reactive - descriptions of behaviors, phenomena and perceptions in business and academia are also encouraged and supported.

European Business Review's lively, readable, topical and often provocative and challenging articles make it an effective agent for raising awareness of key issues in business and academia. The hands-on and straightforward nature of the topics triggers vital business-building efforts and corporate profitability advantages.
