The journal aims to cultivate and share knowledge and ideas in order to assist businesses to enhance their corporate governance practice. Being international and inter-disciplinary in scope, this journal seeks to provide a platform for debate amongst diverse academic and practitioner communities who address a broad spectrum of corporate governance issues and disciplines in different parts of the world.
The journal publishes a diverse range of theoretical, methodological and substantive debates as well as practical developments in the field of corporate governance worldwide. The journal particularly encourages attention to the impact of changes of business/corporate governance forms and practices on people; the sustainability of different governance models; how improvements in performance can be achieved through effective governance; and the legacy that is left for posterity through the continuation of contradicting governance philosophies.
Articles that highlight models and structures that advance the interests, dignity and well being of all stakeholders, in a sustainable manner, are particularly welcome. In so doing, the journal seeks to promote an ethos of meaningful collaboration, reflection, critical review and discussion informed by the results of relevant research and/or praxis.
