Journal of Chinese Entrepreneurship

Journal call for papers

The Journal of Chinese Entrepreneurship is the first journal to focus solely on qualitative and quantitative research in all areas of China business, entrepreneurship, innovation and entrepreneurial marketing, and governmental and industrial policies that inhibit or stimulate entrepreneurship and innovation.

Publishes

The journal publishes original papers, literature reviews, empirical studies, theoretical frameworks, case studies, and book reviews or general views. It is envisaged that the majority of articles will be empirical, but there will also be scope for review articles, and contributions that focus on developments in the research of Chinese entrepreneurship and innovation.

For the research section, the Journal of Chinese Entrepreneurship will consider any high quality academic research article in the field of entrepreneurship. This section serves as an outlet for scholars working on entrepreneurship research relating to China and neighbouring countries. The editors invite prospective authors to submit both theoretical and empirical pieces of the highest scientific quality for publication.

The ‘Entrepreneurship in practice’ section publishes two types of content under the sub-headings of ‘Industry Insights’ and ‘Case Studies’. The aim of this dual perspective is to bridge the gap between theories and hypothesis, on the one hand, and practice, on the other. This section will consider both invited pieces and contributed pieces. However, the papers submitted to ‘Entrepreneurship in practice’ will be subject to an editorial review and not the standard double-blind peer review process associated with the other sections of JCE.

Coverage will be devoted to, but is not limited to, important topics as follows:
Academic papers should be between 3,000 and 5,000 words in length. "Entrepreneurship in practice" papers should be between 2,000 and 4,000 words. Please send submissions by e-mail to:
