Creative Facilities
Guest Editor: Dr Barry Haynes, Sheffield Hallam University, UK
Facilities are pleased to announce a call for papers for a special edition devoted to examining the linkage between people's creativity and their working environment. Papers should have a strong focus on the linkage between the impacts of the working environment on creativity.
Suggested areas:
· Impact of workplace innovation on creativity
· Creative workplaces that facilitate social interaction
· Creative environments that enable staff health and wellbeing
· Creative solutions that balance privacy and collaboration
· Spaces that enables staff to relax and refresh
· The use of colour or imagery to enable creativity
This list is not exhaustive and interested authors are encouraged to contact the editor with alternative proposals. Please kindly take note of the following requirements if you wish to have your paper considered for this Special Issue:
- The content of the paper must conform to the terms of reference of Facilities
- All papers submitted will be subject to the normal double blind refereeing process undertaken by the journal
- Submitted papers must not be under review by any other journal
- Papers should have a strong focus on issues concerning creativity and the working environment supported wherever possible, by relevant empirical research.
The closing date for submissions is: Friday 18th December 2009.
