When the financial crisis came to China

Call for viewpoint papers

Whether or not you agree that 1421 was the year China discovered the world, there seems little doubt that 2009 was the year when the world (that is to say, the world’s financial crisis) finally discovered China.  Chinese Management Studies now invites viewpoint papers to explore and comment upon the impact of the global downturn on China, and/or China’s unique impact on the downturn.

Papers will be desk-reviewed, and selected submissions will appear in the journal within the next twelve months.  Our aim is not to publish a special issue – many journals are in the process of doing so – but to supplement our upcoming regular issues with quality viewpoint pieces.

Papers between 750 and 2500 words should be sent to the Editor-in-Chief, Professor CT Foo: ctfoo@baruch.sg
