The International Journal of Culture, Tourism and Hospitality Research focuses on building bridges in theory, research and practice across the fields of culture, tourism and hospitality. International in scope and grounded in theory-into-practice, the journal provides depth, breadth, provocation and passion in reporting the nuances of humans' lived experiences relating to culture, tourism and hospitality.
The editor invites submissions for possible publication.The journal has an interdisciplinary mission to replace silo thinking research paradigms - as such, authors of all articles submitted for publication should attempt to ground their manuscripts in two to five relevant studies from at least two of the three displines of culture, tourism and hospitality research. Coverage includes:
- Tourist culture and behaviour
- Marketing practices in tourism and hospitality, and how this relates to cultures
- Consumer behaviour and trends in tourism and hospitality
- Destination culture and destination marketing
- Industry forecasting
- Tourism information systems
- International tourism and/or hospitality
- Cultural tourism
- Tourism and attraction development
